Steampunk Debutante….

….that’s me!!! For a long time, I’ve admired this style from a far….too afraid to use it. But with the  Sewing Notions 3d Box from SnapDragon Snippets, I got a little taste for it:

For this lovely box, I used Graphic 45 paper collection “Steampunk Debutante”….an oldie but goodie and AC cardstock in Black, Rust and Vanilla. The flowers are oldies from Prima that’s been hiding in my enormous flower stash and so are the leaves. The silver butterfly is from My Minds Eye “Lost and Found” and the small key is a small charm I happen to find the other day when “cleaning” my workspace 😉 Hrm hrm……

The box is not the easiest  project to begin with because there are lots of things to assemble and its really a tight fit, but if you’re an experienced crafter, you’ll have no problems with this box. At Needles ‘n’ Knowledge you’ll find a fantastic assembly tutorial ❤

Thanks for stopping by and remember that I love hear what you think about my project in a small comment ❤

Voyage beneath the Sea…..

…..I just love that collection from Graphic 45 and it was with great joy I saw that SnapDragon Snippets made the cutest Clam Shell  3D Gift Box. This paper is just made for this kind of project 🙂

It’s very easy to assemble (just look at the assembly tutorial from Needles ‘n’ Knowledge )

I used Graphic 45 paper as patterned paper and AC Cardstock in Vanilla, Peacock and Cherry and glitter tape in a green shade. As embellishment I cut out some small labels from the patterned paper, inked the edges and glued/pop-dotted it onto the box. The seahorse is a Silhouette Design Store item #144539 and its designed by Carina Gardner 🙂 Then I glued some bling on as a finishing touch (from Prima) and tied two small charms on the top for closing the box.

Ooooo I need to make more stuff with this paper 😀

Thanks for visiting ❤
