Acorn Shaker

Soon Summer has ended and my favorite season of all – Fall – will be upon us in all its glorious colors and beautiful blue cool sky ❤

I must admit that I haven’t longed for Fall as much this year as the previous years cause Summer here in Denmark hasn’t been all that hot. Still when I look through my scrap papers and I find one with Fall colors, I just can’t wait ’till all the leaves turn and it again is time for hot cocoa and sweaters 😀

Today I want to show a Fall Easel Card. It’s made from two of Bird’s SVG files: The Easel Card 2 (found here ) and the Acorn Shaker Place Card from the Autumn Leaves SVG Collection (found here)

For this beautiful card I used AC Cardstock in Vanilla and Olive along with patterned papers from BoBunny – Autumn Song (one of my favorite collections). I “inked” the edges of the card with some Gold Metallic Lustre from DecoArt and used some different color sequins from my stash.

I followed the instructions on making the Acorn Shaker up to the point where you use 7 layers to make the shaker. I just added 7 more layers on top of the Acorn and used gold foil on the top layer. I also made a piece for writing by making an offset of the patterned paper piece and then I added two tiny jewels as stopper.

I’m definitely going to make more Shaker Cards in the future – this was fun!!!

Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to write me a little something ❤
