Hello – so happy that you decided to visit my blog today 🙂
I have some fun projects to show you – Halloween of course 😉
Very recently Sandy of Simply Crafty SVGs released a series of K Cup Holders and instantly I started wondering about how to make something else with these. We don’t have K Cups in Denmark (all kinds of other Coffee Capsules though) so what could I put in these awesome holders?
Well change the size of the holes in them and they will fit perfectly for Ferrero Rocher chocolates!
And dress them in Halloween papers – then Voila! Ready to go! Perfect for Trick or Treaters or maybe as a hostess gift.
First of is the K Cup Holder (2 Cup) :
I made this funny and kid-friendly….kind of 😉
I used AC Cardstock in Black, Chocolate, Latte and Melon, red and white pearl paper and decorated with Doodlebug Paper “BooVille” and some Doodlebug Sprinkles that matched.
The little owl whoooo(‘s) missing his eyes, is from the Silhouette Design Store Design ID #31986 (designed by Susie Hildebrandt)
I found the tag and text in the Silhouette Design Store too – Tag: Design ID #31986 (designed by Sweet Afton) and text: Design ID #66686 (designed by Sandi Idleman) I used a white sketchpen to draw on the tag.
I used some red/white twine to tied the tag onto the holder.
Cute right? 🙂
Next I made a little more adult holder:
This is the same holder as before and for this one I used AC Cardstock in Black and Melon, Bazzill Swiss Dot Paper in Green and decorated with Bobunny paper “Wonderfully Wicked” and white and green pearl paper.
The Toads I found in the Cricut design Store (from the Potions and Spells Cartridge)
The label – Wart of Toad – I found online. There are thousands so take your pick! It’s a print and cut label.
I decided to keep using the tag and text from before – just seems so fitting. This one is decorated with some Doodlebug Sprinkles in Matte and matching colors. I used green and white twine for tying the label onto the holder.
Finally I made the Triangles K Cup Holder:
This one is also a bit more adult and so much fun due to the shape 🙂
I used AC Cardstock in Black for this one, white and copper colored pearl paper and patterned paper from Making Memories – “Spellbound” (very old collection)
This holder was of course a bit more challenging to assemble but not hard at all.
This label is also one I found online – those chocolates could look like brains especially without the paper 😀
Of course I used the same tag again and the tiny spider is from Doodlebug. It’s tied with white and black twine.
So I had fun with these K Cup Holders and found another use for them. I can’t wait to see what YOU come up with!
Thanks for visiting today – more Halloween coming up soon 😀
Wow! All three are spectacular! I love how you turned them into candy holders instead of k-cup holders.
