Feed Me, Seymour,

Feed me all night long
That’s right, boy!
You can do it!
Feed me, Seymour
Feed me all night long
‘Cause if you feed me, Seymour
I can grow up big and strong!

Remember these lyrics? If you do, you’ve definitely seen the Musical “Little Shop of Horrors” starring Rick Moranis, Steve Martin and Bill Murray. By far one of my favorite Musicals 😀

So you can imagine when I saw the awesome creation of Audrey II by Jan Hunter – I just had to scrap lift it and Sandy of Simply Crafty Svgs made it very easy.

Presenting: Audrey II (Venus Flytrap SVG File):

I had so much fun making the murderous little plant. I used AC Cardstock and patterned paper from DCWV Stacks Curiosities and Ghost Stories.

The leaves and the tongue are embossed with Embossing folder from Crafters Companion and Sizzix and all edges plus teeth and embossing are inked with Distress Ink in matching colors.

The plant sign is from American Crafts and I used vinyl for the text….it even has the bloody fingerprint from Seymour 😮

Finally I filled in some Spanish Moss in the pot and ….TA DAAAA…..Two-y was born (again)

This might be my only Halloween decor this year…let’s see if I have time to make some more and find the space for it.

I’ve seen several Audrey’s made lately – all look fantastic ❤

Thanks for joining me today….I think I’ll take some off from my chores and watch “Little Shop of Horrors” for the 50th time 😀

  1. Helle, I can’t get the big smile off my face. One of the best movies/plays of all time. (well if you don’t count Rocky Horror Picture Show) I keep wishing some of your amazing craftiness will rub off on me. Another stunning project dear friend! Big hugs!

  2. Loved both the movies – that’s how old I am – and love this! There’s so much wonderful detail, Helle! I bow to your imaginative use of papers, ink and embossing folders. SPOOKALICIOUS!!!
