Tiny Freebies 2.0

I am amazed of how many cute freebies are out there – just for the taking. I mean – the designer put in a lot of effort in it, just to give it away. If that isn’t generosity, I don’t know what is.

Now go grab a cuppa – this is a bit long ๐Ÿ˜€

Today I want to show some more tiny and not so tiny freebies I found and made and I want to start off with the not so tiny freebies ๐Ÿ˜€

This one has a bit of a story to it as my neighbors – the kindest, nicest people ever – has a bit funny last name and going through an add for a supermarket yesterday, I found a red wine with …. well their last name on it. So I just had to buy it and give it to them….because of the name ๐Ÿ˜€

DSC_0007

Their last name is Barfod (Barefoot) and it means the same – naked foot ๐Ÿ™‚ So it couldn’t be anymore perfect ๐Ÿ™‚

So here is where the freebie comes into the picture; I made theย Elegant Grapes Gift Tag freebie from SVGCuts to tie onto the bottle. The tag is enlarged somewhat to fit the bottle.

DSC_0005

I made it from AC Cardstock in Leaf, Olive, Wine, Eggplant, Pansy and Plum and I doodled some reflections onto the grapes with a white Sharpie. Then I tied it onto the bottle with some raffia and it’s ready to go next door ๐Ÿ™‚

Next I made a Spring Picture using theย Tulip with Frame freebie (found under square frames) andย Label 8 freebie (found under Labels) from Bird’s Cards:

DSC_0011

This made from AC Cardstock in Banana, Spinach, Peacock and Turf along with patterned paper from Graphic 45’s “Fairie Dust” collection and some purple pearl paper.

I made the Tulip frame larger to fit into the shadow box (from IKEA) and enlarged the label as well to fix the scale.

I added pop dots to the tulips flower head for dimension and to the top layer of the tag as well.

The quote is written with a Silhouette Sketch pen – the text is tripled and placed side to side very close to make it more visible.

Finally I added a small bird into the shadowbox frame along with the picture and it is so cute.

And now to the tiny freebies ๐Ÿ™‚

Let’s start of with theย Cozy Socks Gift Box freebie from SVGCuts

DSC_0029

I downsized it by 50% and since socks doesn’t fit into a box this small, I used some Werther’s Original candies instead. After I had put in the acetate window, I realized it could also be used for small paper tissues ๐Ÿ˜€

I used AC Cardstock in Black along with patterned paper from Graphic 45’s “Artisan Style” collection and a small piece of acetate for the window.

A cute, simple and very easy box to make – especially if you’re making lots.

Then I made the very cuteย Tote Bag freebie from Bird’s Cards:

DSC_0021

This one is downsized by 25% and is made of AC Cardstock in Wave along with patterned paper from Graphic 45’s “Sun Kissed” collection.

I chose to make panels for the inside of the bag too and tied two small sea shell charms onto the bag with a ball chain.

Just perfect for a gift card or maybe for the kids’ beach keepsakes ๐Ÿ˜‰

I also made the same bag downsized by 50%:

DSC_0025

This one is pretty small and I thought it would be awesome as a place card for the Summer party or Confirmation.

It’s made of AC Cardstock in Wave and patterned paper also from Graphic 45’s “Sun Kissed” collection.

I fussy cut the sea turtle and pop dotted him onto the bag.

The tag is actually also a freebie from Bird and I used a sketch pen to write the name onto it and some twine to tie it to the bag handle with a pop dot on the back ๐Ÿ˜‰

The next freebie has kinda the same theme going on:

DSC_0023

This is theย Clamshell Box freebie from Simply Crafty Svgs and this is the original size!

I used AC Cardstock in Grape Fruit along with patterned paper from Graphic 45’s “By the Sea” collection. The small gem is from Prima.

A very cute and useful freebie that can also be used for sea shells or maybe some other beach treasures.

Finally I made the gorgeousย Night & Day Trinket Box freebie from Dreaming Tree:

DSC_0033

This was the perfect design to used with the Graphic 45 “Midnight Masquerade” collection paper along with glitter paper in Teal and Gold.

The box is downsized to 75% of the original size

A very easy box to make and what a cutie!!!

Well….that was it for today.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the freebies or actually….. I hope you WILL enjoy the freebies as I have and please don’t forget to leave me a small comment when you leave โค

Tiny Freebies

I really enjoy all the amazing SVG Companies out there – what would I do without them? And I find it especially awesome that they release so many cute freebies to play with or to try on before buying a new kit or bundle from a company that you haven’t tried before.

I decided to play a bit with some of these freebies – a fragment of what I’ve downloaded so far, but if I made them all, this post would never be over ๐Ÿ˜‰

As much as I love to play and create, I can’t find much storage space anymore, so I downsized them all by 50%

For starters I made the cuteย Tulip Bag from SVGCuts:

DSC_0023

I used AC Cardstock in Banana and cut it on my Silhouette Cameo. Then I folded it at the score lines and tied some thin wire onto it as a handle….So adorable. Pop in a few candies and use it as a place card or table decor.

Then I moved onto theย Window Pane Gift Box also from SVGCuts:

DSC_0012

I used AC Cardstock in Vanilla and used Graphic 45’s “Cafe Parisian” for the panels that I made. All edges are inked with Ingvild Bolme Chalk Ink pads.

I also decided to move the small flower on the lid onto the panel to make it more visible.

A cute tiny hostess gift that still after being downsized, holds pretty much candy ๐Ÿ˜‰

I also made the adorable Bird House Box from Bird’sย Bird House CollectionDSC_0014

This collection is totally free and includes cards and tags too.

I used AC Cardstock in Vanilla, Bayou, Mint and Lavender along with Cream colored Pearl Paper. The original file only has the swirly layer for the front of the house, but I cut out the bottom of it and repeated two times to get the layer for the sides as well. A little bit tricky with some adjustments here and there ๐Ÿ˜‰

It’s so easy to make and assemble and so cute with a LED tea light inside….the cute birdie that lives inside looks kinda freaky on this picture ๐Ÿ˜€ LOL.

Finally I made the darlingย Sunflower Treat Basket from Dreaming Tree – made up as a Daisy ๐Ÿ˜‰

DSC_0018

I used AC Cardstock in Pine, White, Banana and Mustard and decorated with Graphic 45s “Little Women” patterned paper.

I made my own panel for the handle by offsetting the handle internally and attached it to the basket with two small yellow brads.

So easy to make it more spring-y with the daisy instead of the fall like Sunflower – just change the colors.

These were the few freebies I wanted to show you today – there might be a part two ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks for stopping by and please leave me a small comment on your way out – thanks โค

The Wild West

We all know that finding something to make for a guy’s Birthday is tough. Usually most of the kits and files out there are cute, feminin or for kids. But Mary from SVGCuts just made it a whole lot easier crafting something cool for a man – with the amazingย Wildflower Saloon Kit. I couldn’t keep myself from making most of the parts of the kit because it is just da bomb!!!

So first I made the Whiskey Barrel:

DSC_0010

I made mine in AC Cardstock in Caramel and Black and embossed all the panels with Darice Woodgrain Embossing folder. Then I inked all with different shades of brown ink pads from Prima Ingvild Bolme. On the rings I have rubbed Prima Metallique Wax in Rich Copper, Brushed Iron and Aged Brass and added some Tim Holtz brads.

Don’t be intimidated by the barrel – it is very easy to make!

Next I made theย Cowboy Hat:

DSC_0013

This is downsized to 75% in order to keep the size ratio with the barrel. I made mine from AC Cardstock in Chestnut and tied some hemp cord around the top.

This is actually a box and it is so easy to make. I had it done in no time ๐Ÿ™‚

Then there’s theย Rustic Lantern:

DSC_0008

This amazing design is also downsized to 75% and is made from AC Cardstock in Coffee and some Vellum. All of the pieces are rubbed with Prima Metallique Wax in Bronze Age, Rich Copper and Aged Brass.

I can’t get the Darice light here in Denmark, so I put in a 20 piece LED sting of lights inside instead. Works just as well ๐Ÿ™‚

This one is a bit more challenging to make (especially if you downsize it) but it’s nothing you can’t handle ๐Ÿ™‚ Just takes a bit more time and Mary has a wonderful tutorial video for you to follow ๐Ÿ™‚

Next I made a pair of Cowboy Boots – these are NOT from the Wildflower Saloon Kit but from an older kit calledย Happy Trails:

DSC_0015

The boots are also downsized to 75% and I used AC Cardstock in Chestnut and Coffee along with some silver pearl paper. I used a Damask patterned embossing folder from Cuttlebug on the panels and a Leopard Print embossing folder, also from Cuttlebug, on the inside panels. Then I used some Tim Holtz brads on the backstraps and top straps and inked the embossing with some dark brown Prima chalk ink.

Finally I made the adorableย Trunk of Wildflowers Box Card:

DSC_0017

For the card I used AC Cardstock in Chestnut, Mint, Oregano, Moss, Rosebud, Vanilla, Melon, and Canary along with patterned paper from Graphic45s French Country. I also used some copper colored pearl paper for the hardware. On the handles I used Tim Holtz brads and on the hardware I used some copper colored brads I found in my stash.

I also decorated the flowers with different pearls and gems from my stash and inked all the edges with Prima Chalk ink (Ingvild Bolme).

This card looks difficult but it isn’t. Just follow the instructions on the PDF or watch Marys tutorial.

And here it is – in all its glory ๐Ÿ˜€ Yee Haw!

DSC_0006

I want to thank you for joining me today – it was so much fun to put these things together and I really hope you’ll make some of your own โค

More Easter projects…..

……Yes – I’m a complete Easter Maniac this year ๐Ÿ˜€

I’ve got some more Easter projects to show you ๐Ÿ™‚ but I promise that these will be some of the last you’ll see from me….this year ๐Ÿ˜‰

First of I made the adorableย Egg Holder with a 3D Bunny from the Silhouette Design Store – designed by Tanya Batrak:

DSC_0008

This is a very easy but so cute project to make and it requires a minimum of supplies.

I down sized the original file by 50% and cut the bottom of the box, the grass and the Bunny out of AC Cardstock in White, Bubblegum, Spinach and Grass (the eyes are cut from black pearl paper and doodled with a White Sharpie) and the top is made from Graphic 45’s “Secret Garden” paper.

Then I assembled the box and the bunny (find the tutorial here) and glued him inside the middle hole so he can peak out.

I added some cress to the two plastic egg-shells (I was a bit out of time – my original thought was to grow the cress inside each shell. That will get you a better looking cress) and put them in the two remaining holes. Easy peasy and ready for the Easter Lunch table.

DSC_0009

“Hello” ๐Ÿ˜€

Next I made theย Easter Wreath from Miss Kate Cuttables:

DSC_0003

This one I supersized to fit the 12″x12″ cutting mat and cut it from AC Cardstock in Robin’s Egg, Bubblegum, Lipgloss, Mint, Key Lime, Peach, Banana, Vanilla and Cheastnut.

It is very easy to assemble and for a fun little touch, I used Glossy Accent in all the “holes” in the eggs and berries. What a shine!

Now it’s hanging on my entrance door to greet all visitors ๐Ÿ™‚

So finally I made the cute 3D Bunny from theย Bunny Hop SVG Kit by SVGCuts:

DSC_0011

I’ve made her before, but this time I downsized her by 50% so she could sit in the Easter Egg shaped Dome I found online.

She is made from AC Cardstock in White and Bubblegum and patterned paper from Doodlebug Design paper “Springtime.” The eyes are two black pearls from Prima.

Even though she is downsized, she is still very easy to make and she is SO adorable this small.

DSC_0009

So there you have it. All of these projects were made ready for hubby’s Birthday Brunch last Sunday and are now a part of my HUGE Easter decor stash ๐Ÿ˜€

Thanks for stopping by today. I really hope you enjoyed these projects and I promise I’m ALMOST done with Easter……I just have one more thing to show. Stay tuned ๐Ÿ˜€

Fun, Fair and Fairytales….

Yay….I’m back on my blog. My absence has not been voluntary but due to a nasty fall last week that has left me with a sprained big toe so walking is not the easiest. So I’ve still been able to craft (only death or paralysis can keep me away from that) but I haven’t been able to shoot any decent pictures of my projects. But today….finally…..I was able with some help.

You’ve properbly seen one or two of my downsized houses and since Winter is still around yet Spring is around the corner, I thought I needed some end of winter/spring decor around the house. So I made these three downsized projects.

First of is the Asian Pagoda from SVGCuts Spring Blossom Kit

DSC_0007

This cutie is downsized to by 50% and that made it a bit more tricky to make even though I think it’s pretty easy. Just not much room for fat fingers in some of the corners ๐Ÿ˜‰

I made it from AC Cardstock in Grapefruit, Peach, Pansy, Spinach, Pacific and Vanilla along with patterned papers from Graphic 45s Secret Garden and Botanical Tea.

All edges are inked with chalk ink pads from Prima and the tiny gems are from my stash.

This is totally cute in this small size โค

Next I made the Ferris Wheel from Summer Street Carnival Kit:

DSC_0012

This one is also downsized by 50% and I must admit that it was much easier and fun to make it in this small size or maybe I’ve just practiced a lot more since last time I made it in full size.

I used AC Cardstock in Grapefruit, Grass, Coffee, Banana and Vanilla along with patterned paper from Graphic 45s Time To Celebrate.

I inked all edges with chalk ink pad from Prima, used hibachi skewers for the wheel and the carts and used some Doodlebug Sprinkles as embellishment.

I originally wanted to install lights in this but thought about it and not everything I make has to have lights ๐Ÿ˜€

Finally I made the Castle from Dreaming Trees Enchanted Winterland Bundle:

DSC_0016

Like the two other projects, I downsized this one too by 50% and it didn’t make it any less cute ๐Ÿ™‚ It was a bit tough to reach into some of the places and gluing down the middle building to the large tower, but otherwise it just went together like a charm.

I used AC Cardstock in Grapefruit, Turf, Ocean and Pansy along with patterned paper from Graphic 45s newest collection Fairie Dust and Best Creation White Glitter Paper.

I inked all the patterned paper edges with Chalk ink pads from Prima and found some small pearls to stick and glue on tooth picks for the flags and roofs of the towers.

In this one I have installed light and I went for the “Winter-is-over-and-the-snow-is-melting-in-Fairie-Land” kinda look ๐Ÿ˜€ I think I succeeded ๐Ÿ™‚

Tomorrow I’ll be back to show you a project that I finally managed to finish and that is something out of this world ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks for visiting today – hope you’ll come back tomorrow to find out what I’ve been up to ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yuletide Greetings

Hello again ๐Ÿ™‚ So nice of you to come back again ๐Ÿ™‚

Today I’m going to show you the cards I made for the gift bags and presents I made for my girlfriends.

Really I had stopped making Christmas cards since it’s so difficult to send and waaay to expensive, but since I gave the bags away last Friday at my Birthday party, I thought it only fitting to have a card along with the presents.

And I just had to make these cards! I’m talking about SVGCuts’ Yuletide Box Cards. I fell in love with these instantly and how awesome is it that they are so easy and fast to make.

First of the Star Box Card:

DSC_0006

It’s made from White AC Cardstock and decorated with White Glitter cardstock from Best Creation and Gold Foil. I simply added a small star gem in the middle – it really didn’t need anything else.

Then there’s the Nativity Box Card:

DSC_0008

This is made from White AC Cardstock and decorated with gold foil and gold glitter paper along with patterned paper from Dovecraft “Time to Sparkle”

On to the Gingerbread House Box Card:

DSC_0010

This cutie is made from AC Cardstock in Chocolate and decorated with White Glitter Paper from Best Creation and different dots the colored ones from Doodlebug Design. Oh it’s so yummy ๐Ÿ˜›

Next is the Rooftops Box Card:

DSC_0014

This card is made from White, Black and Banana AC Cardstock and decorated with patterned paper from Dovecraft “Time to Sparkle” I also painted on some Stickles Glitter glue to make it look frosty ๐Ÿ™‚

Finally I made the Amaryllis Box Card (my favorite)

DSC_0012

This card is made from AC Cardstock in Vanilla, Rouge, Crimson, Pine and Spinach and decorated with patterned paper from Dovecraft “Time to Sparkle” and gold foil. I added some small dots of Nuvo Crystal Drops to the flower centers.

I really hope the girls are happy with the small gift I made for them. I just didn’t feel like leaving them out of the joy of giving โค

Thanks for stopping by and I really hope you too enjoyed the projects I made and that it gave you some inspiration for making your own presents.

Don’t Do This At Home Kids!…..

Luckily tiny things don’t take up much space – so after years of crafting I finally (well overdue) have come to the conclusion to make some of the fab structures and houses from my favorite designers in half size.

It is definitely not without problems to size down projects and with a few of the houses I’m about to show you, the structures came out somewhat crooked. But it’s a small price to pay and now I have room for show and storage ๐Ÿ™‚

Starting off with the beautiful Church from the Silent Night Kitย by SVGCuts:

DSC_0002

The Church is made from AC Cardstock in White and Pine along with patterned paper from the Swedish company Maja Design (I Wish). The small bell is from Tim Holtz and I’ve inked all the edges with matching color chalk ink pads from Prima. The light is a string of LED lights found online. I also embossed the bell tower panels with a Sizzix embossing folder.

Next is the General Store from the Country Market Kitย by SVGCuts:

DSC_0006

For this tiny cutie I used AC Cardstock in White, Rouge, Sky and Blueberry along with patterned paper from Maja Design (Joyous Winterdays). I inked all the edges with chalk ink pads from Prima and decorated the small signs with Sprinkles from Doodlebug Design. This one also contains a small string of lights found online.

Then I made the gorgeous Winter Lodge from the Winter Lodge Kitย by SVGCuts:

DSC_0007

For this beauty I used AC Cardstock in White, Shadow and Coffee along with glitter and cobber paper. I also used Maja Design patterned papers (I Wish). The tiny shades I rubbed with cobber colored wax and the big window panel as well. I inked all the edges with chalk ink pads and added some cotton as chimney smoke. The top piece of the chimney was way to small to assemble so I left that out. I also made two tiny Christmas Trees for the planters (I used the “Take a Bough die from Concord & 9th.) and added to gems to the tiny lanterns to look like lights. The foundation panels are embossed with a embossing folder from Darice.

Next I made the Magnolia Manor from the Magnolia Manor Kitย by SVGCuts:

DSC_0012

This is by far the most difficult of the houses. It was very difficult to assemble the very tiny pieces when making it half size. So it’s crooked in lots of places. I think it would have been awesome as a Halloween house decor ๐Ÿ˜‰

I used AC Cardstock in White and Shadow along with patterned paper from Maja Design (I Wish). I also used Cobber paper and glitter paper (snow) All the edges are inked with chalk ink pads from Prima and since the house is very detailed, I didn’t think it needed any more decorations.

Finally I made the Mistletoe Manor from the Mistletoe Manor Kitย also by SVGCuts:

DSC_0014

I must say that I think I got away with it somewhat better than the Magnolia Manor but the roof is still crooked.

I used AC Cardstock in White, Scarlet, Chocolate and Coffee along with patterned paper from Maja Design (I Wish). I also used White glitter paper for the snowy roof. All edges are inked with chalk ink pads from Prima. I made a tiny wreath for the door with a file from the Silhouette Design Store (design #69431) and added some small dots of Stickles Burgundy Glitter glue.

Pheww…..don’t do this at home kids! ๐Ÿ˜€

I’ve spent more than a week on the houses and I love ’em to death. Even hubby digs them (and that’s saying a lot from a guy living in a home FILLED with paper structures ๐Ÿ˜€ )

I did tear some hairs out on occasion and cursed and yelled when things didn’t go my way….but hey….what crafter doesn’t from time to time ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks for stopping by and please go visit my FB page to see some small videos I made of the houses and the details – Go here

The Candy Gang…..

Hello again ๐Ÿ™‚

I just can’t believe all the amazing Halloween projects out there, just waiting to be made. I am really kept busy at the moment ๐Ÿ™‚

This time I want to show you my edition of SVG Cuts Candy Gang SVG Kit

DSC_0002

Just like the cute Halloween Lanterns I showed yesterday, these are made of AC Cardstock and Doodlebug Design Paper “Boos & Brews” and “BooVille”. The handles are pipe cleaners and I added a twinkle in their eyes with a white Sharpie.

They are soooo easy to make and would be so awesome for all the cute Trickย or Treatersย out there. I think I know a couple who will love theses ๐Ÿ˜‰

Here’s some close-ups of each bag:

Thanks for vistiting me again.ย Please leave me aย small comment.ย I just can’t promise I’m done with the Halloween stuff, because there is still a whole lot out there to be made, but I am starting to think about Christmas….Must. Concentrate. About. Christm…..Ooooooh look Halloween ๐Ÿ˜€

Once upon a time…..

…..in a land far far away, lived a small fairy in a beautiful Pumpkin Cottage. It was made of all the best paper material you can find and the fairy was a happy little fairy.

The Cottage was designed by another beautiful and talented fairy called Mary. She had made lots of gorgeous paper houses and other stuff and the small fairy was thrilled to be living in a genuine SVGCuts Pumpkin Cottage.

DSC_0014

The small fairy was so happy and excited with all the amazing details that was put into the cottage.

and she hoped to live there forever and ever……but…..

An Evil Witch moved to the far away land and bought herself one of Mary’s cottages. Only this one wasn’t made of dreams and happiness but of nightmares and bad luck.

DSC_0005

The Evil Witch loved her sinister cottage and invited lots of her sisters in to cackle and brewing toxic potions.

They would use hours looking at the horrible details of the cottage.

But one day, the Evil Witch invited the Small Fairy over for coffee. They became the best of friends and lived happily ever after.

The End.
