Love you a Latté…..

For those who know me I’m not a big fan of Valentines Day. Waaayyy to mushy and pink 😉 Then I saw the Cream and Sugar collection from Doodlebug Design and I fell in love. I’m a big coffeeholic and caffeine addict not to mention a sugar junkie 😀 so you see why this paper spoke to me 😉 Anyways….Dreaming Tree just released a new freebie – Sweetheart Box and I knew this was what I wanted to used the darling paper for. So without further ado:

This little gift box is very easy to make and goes together perfectly. I added some small pearls from Creative Seasons and the bow is made of glitter paper from Paper Line. Now to fill it with some delicious chocolates and it’s ready to give to that special someone or friend ❤

First card of the year…..

….and it took me almost all day to finish. Cause I’m sick. Not sick enough to not get bored so I had to make something. I had a small conversation with a friend yesterday about Pantone Colors and how we both liked the green “Greenery” they picked for this years color. That reminded me that I had the new Graphic 45 collection “Nature’s Sketchbook” laying around, so I decided that I had to make something with that. But what???? Well it has butterfly prints so I went for this:

It’s just such an easy and beautiful card to make – in any paper. So apart from writing the Kenton on Facebook (you know who you are) and getting really confused, I didn’t make any mistakes today. I was just slow as you are when you’re not feeling well.

Apart from the Graphic 45 paper I used AC cardstock in Spinach and Cranberry and some brown and green dots from my stash. Voila…..a colorful start to the new year 🙂
