Winter is coming…..

…but not quite yet….I hope 😀 Anyway, Dreaming Tree has, with the new bundle It’s Cold Outside, anticipated the forthcoming season. What gorgeous cards!!! Ron has done it yet again! WOW.

Since I fell and hurt my knee in Italy, I can’t go on my daily walks (at least not until I have a talk with my doctor), so I have had LOTS of time to craft. So I made all three cards yesterday (I even had time for Candy Crush and PokĂ©mon Go too 😉 )

First of the Christmas Village Cascade Card:

I didn’t want to alter these cards so I just used a bit different colors. For this I used AC cardstock in Ocean, Grape, Pine, Moss, Crimson and Tangerine. I also used AC glitter paper in White and Silver and decorated the tree with different dots and jewels from my stash. The sentiment is an oldie from a AC Minimarks Rub-on Transfers book.

Next is Peppy Penguins Cascade Card:

So much fun making this one with the adorable penguins. I used AC cardstock in Robbin’s Egg, Sky, White, Grape, Melon and Lavender and AC glitter paper in White, Black and Blue. The pearls and gems are from my stash (I forget where all these are from :-O ) The sentiment is from the AC Minimarks book

Finally I made the Winter Wonderland Paperscape Box Card:

This is such a beautiful card and all the “men” in my house were in awe!!! For this I used AC cardstock in Peacock, Sky, Cabbage, White, Storm and Lavender and AC glitterpaper in White. For the front panel I used a patterned paper from BoBunny’s Altitude Collection. The purple gems on this one are from Doodlebug Design. The sentiment (reads: Merry Christmas in Danish) I made with sketch-pens from Silhouette. Need I mention how wonderful this card looks with a color-changing LED light in the middle????

Hope you like my slightly different cards 🙂 Thanks for visiting and remember to leave a small comment ❀

London calling…..

….I wish 😀 Ha ha….Can’t travel all the time and actually while in Italy, I really missed my Cameo, paper and glue ….LOL. I’m incorrigible.

Since I made the Eiffel Tower from Travel the World SVG Kit by SVGCuts , I’ve wanted to make the Red Telephone Box…and today I did:

I just think this box is adorable and very iconic. I made it from AC cardstock in crimson and black and used Graphic45 papers from the Cityscapes collection for the inside and back panel. I inked all the thin edges of the trim with a brick wall colored inkpad from Prima and a white Prima inkpad on the black bottom-piece. I cut out small gold-foiled crowns for the lid and used sketch-pens to write “Telephone” on the signs. I also cut some acetate for windows and taped it on the inside. Finally I used some fine sandpaper on the lid top to smooth out the edges and taped a small LED-light on the inside of the lid.

The only thing I need for this gorgeous box is the telephone….in 3D of course 😀

From me to you….

…I’m back and I have a present for you!

Dreaming Tree recently introduced their new bundle It’s Your Birthday with gorgeous items to make for any Birthday to make the Birthday Child feel truly blessed. But when I saw the Explosion Box, I knew that it could be used for more than birthdays….

This is what I came up with:

What a great gift box for Christmas gifts!!! Right???? And it was so easy to cut out and assemble. I simply removed the pattern and items like the balloon and candle, that I didn’t want and replaced them with some patterns from the Silhouette Design Store. I used AC cardstock in Sapphire, Rouge, Pine and White along with some gold foiled cardstock and white glitter paper. Finally I added some bling here and there – especially on the Christmas trees as small light bulbs and a pom-pom with some glitter on top of Santa’s Hat. Easy peasy….. 🙂 One thing to be aware of is that the glitter paper from AC (Christmas Paper Pad) doesn’t do well with glue so I used glue dots instead.

Thanks for stopping by 🙂 I hope you liked my idea….I think it could be the new Christmas Trend of 2016 😀 ❀
